Using CANVA To Create GIFS with Marcia MENTORS

Marcia demonstrates how to use CANVA to create GIFS. Simply, log on to canva.com and use the "Instagram Post" as it is a nice square, blank canvas to create a GIF. Click on the canvas and select a background color from the pallet on the top left. Add text, by selecting "TEXT" from the left tool bar. You can get fancy with some of the provided templates or just "add a heading" for basic text. Next, select 1-3 images or "elements" to add to your canvas. "Animate" is our last step. Click on the text or the image, one by one, and select "animate" from the top tool bar. A variety of animation types will appear on the left. Try some out, slow down the speed and then download your project as a GIF. This GIF can be uploaded to a Google Slide, Padlet, all social media platforms, Google Classroom, Canvas LMS and any place you see GIFs.
