Collaborative Slides – Everyone on the Same Slide

A member asked about having 32 students on collaborative slides. This is when you make ONE Google Google Slides and share it with the students with edit access. Each student adds their own slide and does their work on the same slides.

My Response:

They add their own slide and they put their name in the speaker notes. I highly recommend you get them to practice this instead of trying to control it. Otherwise you're always having to do it and it's a pain. They CAN learn this skill. It's good to practice being in the same doc with a lot of people. It's a LEARNED skill so it just takes a little time. What I do is while they are working I delete extra slides. Change templates for ones that are not right. Look in the speaker notes to make sure they are adding their name... They DO get the hang of it!

Tip: Use Doc to Slides by Schoolytics (coded by Alice Keeler) and Randomize Slides by Schoolytics (also coded by Alice Keeler)
