How is the new membership site working for you? I am of course trying to get all the pieces added into it. Eventually I will have badges and courses here. One thing I like about the new site is you can COMMENT on posts! You can also rate things (I think... it shows that on the backend) so please take advantage of the comments!
They Can Not Handle It
I hear this fairly often. My students can't do that, it will be chaos. YES! It will be chaos because knowing how to do something is not something you're born with. We have to PRACTICE A LOT with making decisions and doing things.
I Never Give Examples
When you show them a sample... then everyone will do exactly the example.
"Your job is to show me that you understand the Great Depression in the United States. How will you do that without a test?"
Your job is to convince me, without a test, that you can apply the pythagorean theorem outside of this class.
Could you... text message back and forth with your friend and submit screenshots of your messages.
