Learning to code even a little bit will help you be so much more efficient with your teaching. And Creative. If you can code you can do things that are literally impossible (or next to impossible or functionally impossible).
This is NOT a coding lesson. It is an introduction to the idea that you can code. I need to update this drip workshop on getting started with coding Google Apps Script, but it is still good and you can get started here. Also here is a coding bootcamp if you want to use this one.
On the sample spreadsheet, go to the TOOLS menu and choose SCRIPT EDITOR. This is where you start! For things that are coded do not be afraid to go to the Tools Menu and choose SCRIPT EDITOR. You can see this on the daily agenda slides too. Look at that code!
Challenge
For the spreadsheet, add more names and email addresses to the list. Run the code from the script editor and see that it makes a google doc for each of the names on the list even if you add more!
