Webinar: ONE Google Slides for Them All

Alice demonstrates, step-by-step how to use one set of Google Slides to engage all learners. Give students a prompt or a task and ask them to ADD a slide to respond, with an image, GIF, text, video, etc.

Create a new set of Google Slides by going to slides.new. Then click on the "Share" button and give "edit" access to anyone with a link. If you are using Google Classroom, create a new assignment with Google Slides, select, "students can edit" and assign. Once, students have responded, go through the slides together, acknowledging students answers and providing feedback as a class. Watch the video for more details and examples.

  1. Hi Alice. You may have already covered this topic at another time, but is it possible to do a mail merge of student names from sheets into slides? I’ve done a merge from sheets into docs to send the same letter to each of my students/parents. I’d like the same slide with each student’s name. I know you stated to have students add a slide, but I would like the slide to already be there with the individual name. Thanks.
