Audience Participator Add-on connects “any” Google Slides to a Google Form. Students fill out the Form and their answers become your slides!
Steps
- In any Google Slides use the Extensions menu to select “Audience Participator” and choose to show the sidebar.
- Scroll down a tiny bit, there is a set of steps and buttons to follow.
- Create a Form. This makes a new Form (You can NOT use one you already have) that is connected to this Google Slides.
If you do not have pop ups enabled, find your Form in Google Drive. - Insert a slide with ONE textbox (it can have more but you have no control over which textbox is sent to the Form)
- Use the sidebar to click “Send to Form”. A purple confirmation should appear indicating that it pushed the textbox.
- Tip: double check your Form that it indeed pushed the question and that the last item shows the slide number that it is pushing to.
- Test: Fill out the Form.
- This should result in a slide being added to your Google Slides immediately following the question slide. It takes a few seconds to appear
- Use the VIEW menu to select “Theme Builder” to design this slide that student responses are pushed to.
- You can reuse this as much as you want. ANY SLIDE with a textbox that has a question you want to push to the Google Slides simply use the sidebar “Send to Form” button. Students reuse the SAME form each time.
TIPS
- Make sure you enter the member passcode! Scroll down in the sidebar and look for “Enter passcode.”
- As a premium member you are licenced for YOU to use the add-ons on any account YOU are using. Please do not share the passcode with others, please do not set up others with access. The license is only for YOUR use. Thank you.
